What was your motivation for opening your boutique?
A love of fashion and a desire to be my own boss.
Who’s your favorite designer?
It would be a tie between the late Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney. McQueen for his wild, artistic imagination and McCartney for her sleek and feminine wearability.
On a man which do you prefer, clean shaven or facial hair?
Facial hair hands down. Nothing’s sexier than a man in a well tailored suit with a scruffy beard.
What’s the hardest thing about owning your business?
Paid vacations and overtime are hard to come by…
What’s your favorite dish to cook?
Thankfully, my husband is the chef in our house. I’m an excellent taste tester though!
What song (title and artist) gets you pumped?
Anything on the album Ceremonials by Florence and the Machine.
What is a guilty pleasure of yours?
Brian Williams and the Nightly News. Add a wedge of Saga brie cheese and I’m in heaven.
What’s the last thing that made you laugh?
The youtube video “Sh*t Girls Say”, they nailed it.
What is one of the things on your bucket list?
Attending fashion week in Paris.
What do you like and dislike about Savannah?
Between the squares and the coast, there is never a shortage of outdoor beauty. I wish there was more variety in dining options…still waiting on the food truck movement to make its way here!
