Savannah Fashion Week {Runway} pt.1

The fourth annual Savannah Fashion Week 2013 has come and gone. The hard work from all involved has paid off greatly as this monumental event continues to grow each year. Local boutiques, sponsors, models, and the creative people behind the scenes bringing the art of hair and makeup together for one fabulous night of fashion.
In total there were 11 boutiques that walked the runway: Blue Belle BoutiqueCustard BoutiqueFabrika Fine FabricsJ. PaigePalm AvenueRed Clover BoutiqueSara JaneSatchelTerra CottaTrunk 13 and Zia Boutique shared with us their spring and summer lines that collectively received ooh’s and aaahhh’s from those in attendance at the Lucas Theatre.
Models provided by local agencies and an open casting call did their ever so confident model prance across stage and throughout the theatre ensuring that everyone had a close up view of the hottest trends on the market right now. The gamut of style was extensive; I’m talking from casual wear, to formal, wedding, beach, club, church and everything else in between. If you were looking for something feminine and soft, they showed it. If you were looking for something gold and shiny {ME, please!} then you were on the edge of your seat. Pregnant and in need of something to further beautify your baby bump, stop by J Paige! What I appreciated most of the show was that it covered all age groups and styles, truly a show for every woman.
So take a look at the ever growing fashion scene here in Savannah. This is the first part of our coverage. We will be posting more later on today so be sure to check back to see even more great fashion from local boutiques!
